How to Start a Farmily
Coming soon! This is our farmily. We have two pigs, two chickens, four dogs, and a constant rotation of foster animals. I run an Instagram account called @livingwithpickles where we document all the antics of sharing your household with 10+ animals while still maintaining some semblance of order, sanitation and sanity. Together we have nurtured what is our beautifully quirky farmhouse and the perfect sanctuary for ourselves, our furry and our feathered friends.
For the past three years, I’ve opened my household to foster animals of all different shapes and sizes. With all these animals running around, I’ve learned to work smart, not hard. I use the term “farmily” because we aren’t a full blown farm or sanctuary on acres on land. We’ve just learned how to make the most out of the space we do have. This resource is designed to teach you all the tips and tricks I’ve learned starting my own farmily and will hopefully inspire you to start your own. So join us while we bring you inside our home and teach you how to relish in the good life of gardening, family, friends, design, and beloved farmily pets.
